The woman behind
the ranch.
Mahnaz Westerberg is an entrepreneur, an author and a steward of the land. She grew up in a Persian household, studied art in Paris, and built a life in California through design, business and real estate before she ever put her name on a bottle.
At Rancho Mahnaz she brings all of it to one thing: olive oil made the way she would want it on her own table, and presented the way she would want to receive it.

Rancho Mahnaz is a single estate in Creston, on California's Central Coast. Every tree is tended by hand, and every harvest is a deliberate act.
The land is not a facility. It is the reason. The soil, the season and the craft meet in every bottle.
Where it
all began.
A little girl in a warm kitchen, watching her mother cook and sing at the same time. Fresh herbs on the counter, the golden shimmer of olive oil in the pan, the rhythm of her mother's voice.
It was more than food. It was love, and health, and heritage, and it wrapped itself around her. She lost her mother when she was ten. The memory never left, and it lives in everything Rancho Mahnaz makes.
Her love lives on in every drop.
Six thousand years
of the olive.
Long before there were labels, there was the olive. Hippocrates wrote of its uses. Persian physicians wrote of it too. Egyptian royalty carried it into ritual.
Every great table around the Mediterranean was built on it, and a fresh, well-made extra virgin olive oil is still one of the great foods of the world. At Rancho Mahnaz, that lineage continues.
Not all olive oil
is created equal.
Much of the olive oil on grocery shelves is blended, old, or picked long past its peak. Olive oil picked by hand and pressed within hours tastes like a different thing altogether: greener, brighter, alive at the back of the throat.
Freshness is everything. That is why every Rancho Mahnaz olive is pressed within hours of picking, and why each release is made once and meant to be used.
From the table
to the skin.
Drizzle it over a finished dish. Take a spoonful as a morning ritual. Around the Mediterranean, women have pressed olive oil into their skin for centuries.
One ingredient, many uses. It is also where Mahnaz's skincare begins.

Picked by hand on the ranch and cold-pressed within hours, Liquid Gold is a blend of two olives: Arbequina for its silken texture, Picual for its depth and finish.
Each of the 1,500 numbered bottles arrives with two concentrates and a certificate of authenticity signed by Mahnaz. Made once, and signed by her hand.

Moms Against Poverty was founded in 2008 by Delfarib Fanaie and a group of Iranian-American mothers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Working under a US Treasury license, it funds schools, orphanages, clinics and food programs in Iran, Cambodia, India, Senegal, Guatemala and beyond, and has reached more than 7 million children and families in 18 countries.
